Interview with Aurora Titon: Apollo Academy Book Tour~

Welcome to my stop on The Apollo Academy's Blog Tour!

Aurora Titon is the daughter of Collin Titon, the man who brought about Titon Technologies! In addition to that, she also now has the record of being the first female pilot from the Academy!
We've managed to get her alone for a couple of minutes to talk about recent events.

Hi there, Aurora. We were wondering if you could spare 5 minutes to talk to us about recent events?
You know I don't really speak to the media often, but since you're not worst reporter ever, aka Veronica Harley, I think I can spare a few minutes. *shaky smile* Give me your best shot!

Firstly, I understand you hold the record of being the first female pilot being trained at the Academy!
Yeah, wow. Sometimes that's still hard to believe. I seriously hope that's not the case for long,  it's a shame I'm the only one in the flight program.

What's your daily timetable like? Do you spend all day flying, or is there some theory involved behind being a pilot?
My entire life right now is on a schedule. The Apollo Academy sure knows how to keep us busy! Let's see, I usually wake up and grab a quick breakfast with Kaylana. Then I'm off to swim practice or whatever form of physical torture Coach Harris has come up with for the day. After that, I have Astronomy, Flight Physiology, Interplanetary Studies, and usually some sort of group training. A quick break for lunch, then it's off to my flight lessons, which are definitely my favourite part of the day. *takes deep breath* Phew. I'm exhausted just talking about it!

I understand you're the hardworking type. After all, your friend Kaylana had to drag you to a party the night before your initiation into the Academy!
HaHa. Yeah, that was a memorable night.
What do you do then, in your spare time, when you're not studying or in flight-simulators?
This doesn't happen very often, but when it does I'm usually trying to keep up with one of Kaylana's devilish plans.*laughs* That girl is trouble!

With your father being so famous, how do you cope with the fame?
I don't think it's something I've handled very well so far, to be honest. I used to think ignoring it all was the best approach, but I'm not so sure anymore. . .

Will you ever consider following in your father's footsteps and leading Titon Technologies?
Hell no. *looks up and points at sky* I plan to live up there.

Lastly, for a bit of fun. Can you tell us anything... interesting that happened while you were in the Academy? Little tidbits and gossip, you know!
*nervous laugh* I think most of the gossip at the Academy isn't such a secret anymore. It's already being talked about. Like everywhere. Between the cadet arrest, the reveal of Sky's hidden past, and my sabotaged training, I'm hoping we're all out of secrets...

Thanks so much for this interview! It was a pleasure talking with such an accomplished young woman like yourself. We look forward to more new about your exploits!
Wow. This wasn't so bad. Thank you for having me. Maybe I'll do this more often?

As the heiress to Titon Technologies, eighteen-year-old Aurora Titon can have whatever she wants—clothes, expensive gadgets, anything money can buy. All she really wants is to escape her pampered, paparazzi-prone life for the stars. Becoming the first female pilot to train as an astronaut for the Apollo Academy is exactly the chance for which she has been waiting. Everything would be perfect if it weren't for her unreciprocated crush on a fellow student, the sexy astronaut bent on making her life hell, and the fact that someone keeps trying to kill her.

The first in a four book new adult science fiction series, The Apollo Academy, is an action packed story of love, discovery, and survival.
